“In families, process is more important than the problem…..

and relationships are more important than the resolution.”

That is something I say a lot in family therapy sessions and groups.  In fact, I said something like that three days ago.

I discovered an exception to that rule this morning.  When a bathroom in your house becomes temporarily unusable and four people must compete for the last toilet standing, nothing in that quote has any basis in reality.

Outside of that specific kind of circumstance, they are still words to live by.
